Villa Adige is located at the very edge of a natural terrace, overlooking the right bank of the river Adige, and facing the hills of the Valpolicella and the Lessinia pre-Alps. It is situated between Verona (8.5 km) and Lake Garda (13 km). The stately historic property is a 16th-century Venetian Villa, under the control and protection of the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities, and has been carefullry restored.
Villa Adige is set among a fully fenced 4 hectares orchard, including a 1.5 hectares park and a 3 hectares vineyard, entirely framed by cypresses, italic pines, and olive trees. The grounds also include a pool 17x8 meters, bordered by hedges and olives.
It is possible to go to Verona and Lake Garda by bike: Just outside the Villa there is a path that leads to Verona and Lake Garda, and there are several spas in the surrounding. A restaurant is in walking distance (500m).
The property includes the main Villa with 3 floors (6 double bedrooms - sleeps 12) and two Dependences (2 independent units sleep 4 persons each) and a Chapel. The estate sleeps up to 12+8 persons maximum (Dependances included).
The Villa and its two Dependences are a perfect holiday rental for a family and a large group of friends. Not only the guests can experience a visit to a historical Venetian villa with modern and exclusive touches combined with original pieces furnishing in all rooms, but also share the atmosphere of a true family home.
Both the garden of the villa and the garden of the apartments, and the pool are completely private for the guests; the owner's houses and their gardens are separated from the guest’s area.
The main Villa is suitable for 12 people. In case of groups with children, 2 extra guests (children) are admitted, but in general we recommend the Villa for a maximum number of 12 people. In case of large groups, you can book the Villa plus the Dependances for up to 20 people. In case of elderly and disabled people, the ground floor apartment of the Dependance offers a charming and comfortable accommodation (i.e. no architectural barriers or equipped disabled bathroom). If the Dependances are not rented, they will not be rented to anyone else in order to guarantee the privacy of the guests in the main Villa.

Die Unterkunft ist mit Abstand die schönste Unterkunft in der ich bisher war. Die Location ist strategisch optimal, wenn ihr mit dem Auto unterwegs seid. In 15 min ist man im Zentrum von Verona, in 20-30 min am Gardasee und in 5 min in einer der besten Regionen Italiens für Rotwein. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet, mit vielen hochwertigen Details und super gemütlich. Jedes Doppelzimmer hat ein eigenes Bad und sehr gemütliche Betten. Optimal wenn man mit max 8 Freunden/Familie ein Wochenende verbringen will. Am liebsten wären wir noch länger geblieben…

The house is amazing. Clean and with great views. It’s fully equipped with anything you need. Internet connection is super reliable with steady data and latency below 15 m/s. Only a few minutes from central Verona by car or even bike/walk along the river. My kids loved the selection of games available. We will definitely come back in the summer.

The house is beautiful and spacious, well-equipped and super clean. Set in a peaceful countryside, yet within 15 min drive to Verona center as well as lake Garda south. Each room has its own privacy. Common area is big and welcoming. Air condition all over the house. A big bonus to this house is Andrea. Great host! Communication was easy, he was always available, gave us excellent recommendations and was of great help. He went way beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. Totally recommended.

I just spent 4 fantastic days at the Relais. A fantastic accomodationwith a great host that gave us plenty uf useful tips to discover the region. The place is just great to access lake of Garda, the Valpolicella hills and the old city center of Verona. It is very well equiped and absolutely great to have a great time with friends or family even at winter time!

Stunning, spacious house and garden with every comfort inside historic villa. Hosts have paid a lot of attention to detail to make the house both stylish and relaxing. Really easy to get to Verona and Lake Garda and lovely to return to the peace and quiet of the courtyard. Cycle path directly behind the house perfect for walks too. Highly recommend. Amazing place to stay! Perfect for a big family or friends: 4 bathrooms and for 4 bedrooms and even a cot. It was perfect for the family weekend we planned. Not far to Verona to visit the arena and the beautiful city and ideal for spending a relaxing morning in the small garden under the shade of the grapevine with the family. A car is needed though to reach all the nice places like Lake Garda and Verona.

The house is tastefully decorated with nice touches throughout, and perfectly clean. The facilities in the kitchen and the bath rooms were great! We used the house as a three and thought we were getting good value for money, so I would wholeheartedly recommend it for others.

Lake Garda is the largest lake in Italy, right in the middle of Northern Italy. The lake is like a small sea set between the last spurs of the Alps and the Lombardy plain. It is located about half-way between Brescia and Verona, and between Venice and Milan.
Towns and villages on the lake shore enjoy a milder climate compared to the rest of the region – you’ll see lemon trees and olive groves, palm-fringed lakeside walks with a stunning backdrop of snowcapped mountains.
The lake, with its clear, clean and warm water, sunny beaches, mild climate, and Mediterranean vegetation has been a favorite spot since Roman times and has inspired poets and writers through the ages, such as Catullus, Goethe, Joyce and D'Annunzio.
On Lake Garda you can find facilities for almost any kind of sport and activity: swimming, sailing, windsurfing, golf, rock-climbing, bungee-jumping, trekking, pony trekking, horseback riding, cycling, tennis.
There are many interesting little towns along the coast and up in the hills. This area is rich of natural beauty, history, and culture, with good restaurants and shops.

Nature lovers will be enchanted by the shores of Lake Garda, the slopes of Monte Baldo or the plateaus of Lessinia, which constitute an ideal destination for cycling excursions and hiking.
Food and wine: If you are fond of wine and good food, you certainly cannot fail to visit the cellars of Valpolicella and the lower lake, to taste the many typical wines of our region (Amarone, Recioto, Valpolicella, Lugana, Bardolino), as well as the dairies of our mountains or the small artisan workshops that renew our best culinary traditions. Verona is famous all over the world for its incredible tradition with regard to food and wine.
Sports: You can enjoy golf, horseback riding, parachuting, paragliding and hang-gliding, rafting, mountain bike and other bike trails. Just outside the Villa there is a path that leads to Verona and Lake Garda, and there are several spas in the surrounding.
