DECLARATION OF ACCEPTING RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR PET

The undersigned declares that his/her own dog is obedient, is not aggressive and does not bite.

Moreover, by signing this form s/he declares
1) that s/he will accept all responsibility for all behaviour of his/her own dog inside or outside the rented accommodation and that s/he releases the house owner and all persons who are connected to him/her or the accommodation (e.g. relatives, friends, gatekeeper, gardener, staff, suppliers, other tenants, guests or neighbours) from any related responsibility. The release from responsibility shall also be applicable to the agents booking the accommodation and all persons connected to them having arranged the renting of the accommodation for the undersigned;
2) that s/he understands that the house owner of the rented accommodation, although no prohibition for keeping pets exists, is not obliged to take any precautions guaranteeing the safety of persons, furnishings or the dog. Even if the description of the services offered specifies that the house is surrounded by fencing, this neither means that the fencing cannot be surmounted nor that it is of a nature that makes it impossible for the dog to escape. The undersigned is therefore aware that s/he is responsible for his/her own dog, even inside the rented accommodation, and that s/he releases all other persons from any responsibility whatsoever. The release from responsibility shall also be applicable to the agents booking the accommodation and all persons connected to them having arranged the renting of the accommodation for the undersigned;
3) that s/he agrees to the fact that the house owner and any persons who are connected to him/her or the accommodation (e.g. relatives, friends, gatekeeper, gardener, staff, suppliers, other tenants, guests or neighbours) cannot be held in any way responsible for damage, accidents or illnesses from which their own dog suffers during the stay or which arise as a consequence of the stay. The house owner does not guarantee that the property does not pose any danger of injury for the dog. The release from responsibility shall also be applicable to the agents booking the accommodation and all persons connected to them having arranged the renting of the accommodation for the undersigned;
4) that his/her own dog is insured;
5) that s/he has been informed that in 2003 the Italian Ministry for Health issued the following regulations for breeds that have been classified as dangerous by the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (International Canine Federation), such as: a) pit bull terriers, b) other canine breeds classified as dangerous, c) canine breeds of group 1 and 2 according to the federation's breeds nomenclature as well as d) half-breeds that have been crossbred with a dog of breed a), b) and/or c): 5.1) Dogs of said categories must be kept on a leash and wear muzzles if they are in public places or places where other persons are present. 5.2) Dogs falling under the aforementioned categories require third-party bodily injury insurance. 5.3) Persons under the age of 18 are not allowed to keep dogs belonging to these categories;
6) that s/he has seen the list of canine breeds classified as dangerous by FCI, which is published on the website www.fci.be under the link "Standards & Nomenclature", see "Group 1" and "Group 2".
